Perspective

Daily ReadsPerspective

There are certain days that make us think about how lucky or grateful we are.  Today is one of those days.  You might call it perspective.  When we change our perspective, we change our focus.  We view the world differently and view people differently.  It is easier than you think to change your perspective and feel the trickle down affects in our professional and personal lives.  Here are some simple ways to change your perspective:

Think of each day as an adventure and step out of your comfort zone, even if it’s only by taking a new, less traveled route home.

Have a goal to learn or do something new every day; whether it’s adding a new gadget to your blog or a new way to approach your next sales call.

Stop complaining and begin thanking – instead of complaining that you can’t see your desk, be thankful that you can “see” your desk.

Andy Andrews says it perfectly, “Opportunities and encouragement come from other people. When we are happy and enthusiastic, other people enjoy being around us. We then get more opportunities and encouragement because other people want to be and like being around us.”

“A life filled with opportunities and encouragement finds more opportunities and encouragement and success becomes inevitable.”
