First – You have to feel the need to change – this may take a crisis that is quite uncomfortable or even unfortunate, but it will be the push you need to change.

Second – You have to have courage to face your fear – when you are in the face of adversity (the crisis in the first step). Take responsibility for your actions – good and bad. Not facing your fears and challenges can ultimately result in lack of growth or failure.

Third – You have to make the commitment and fight – Change is event driven, it doesn’t just happen, and sometimes the change is not positive. at first. You may move two steps forward and one step back, but you need to remain committed with regards to time, willingness to sacrifice and the faith to persevere.  You will “win” and have positive change in the end.
