If you’ve battled waking up early since as long as you can remember this article is for you! Some days it’s just hard to motivate, especially if you’re a night owl. You can change all this and reset your waking time once and for all!

  1. Kick your snooze button addiction! Like most things that feel so good, it’s actually bad for you! It’s addictive. Set the alarm far enough away from your bed that you have to get up to shut it off.
  2. A teaspoon of honey. Wake up to some sweetness. Choose an alarm sound or a light that is softer on the ears to wake you up to. There’s no sense in waking up irritated. You can even treat yourself by giving yourself a few extra minutes to read or play a game to help your mind wake up.
  3. Fight the battle at night. Stop fighting the get up early battle in the morning; make your plans the night before to the changes in your morning routine. You will find it gets easier if your mind is already “made up” to just get up!
